About Sri Siddhartha Institute of Nursing Sciences & Research Centre (SSINS&RC)
Sri Siddhartha Institute of Nursing Sciences & Research Centre (SSINS&RC) was inaugurated in the academic year 2019-2020 under the auspices of Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (Deemed to be University u/s 3 of UGC Act 1956). It is sponsored by the Sri Siddhartha Education Society. The institution is located on the outskirts of Bangalore City, along the Bangalore-Pune Highway (NH-206), 38 km from Bangalore City.
The roots of SSINS&RC trace back to the vision of Late Sri H.M. Gangadharaiah, fondly remembered as “Shikshana Bheeshma.” Inspired by eminent leaders like Sri Acharya Vinoba Bhave, Mahatma Gandhi, Sri Basavanna, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, he founded the Sri Siddhartha Education Society (SSES) in 1959. His mission was to extend education to the underserved sections of society, earning him the moniker ‘Shikshana Bheeshma.’
